Vanchiappan Aravindan completed his Masters's degree from the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2003, and moved to Gandhigram Rural University, Gandhigram (MHRD, Govt. of India) to pursue his Ph.D. After completing his Ph.D in 2009, he moved to Gwang-ju to work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Chonnam National University, South Korea. Then, he moved to Energy Research Institute @ Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as a Senior Scientist and worked until joining as Ramanujan Fellow. Presently, he is working as an Ramanujan Faculty Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at IISER-Tirupati since July, 2017.
