Dr. Subramanian Natarajan
Dr. Subramanian Natarajan worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2017-2019) in the laboratory of Dr. V. Aravindan at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, India. He carried out his work at CSIR-Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI) with Professor Hari C. Bajaj and earned the Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India in 2018. His research interest includes the recovery of valuable materials from spent Lithium-ion batteries and their re-utilization in electrochemical energy storage and conversion applications. Currently, he is a JSPS Fellow at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Sengeni Anantharaj
Dr. Sengeni Anantharaj worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2019) in the laboratory of Dr. V. Aravindan at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, India. He obtained his Ph.D. from CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi, Tamil Nadu, India in 2018. For his achievements in the field of materials electrochemistry and their application to energy conversion electrocatalysis, he was awarded the prestigious “ECS India Section S. K. Rangarajan Graduate Student Award” in December 2017. Later, he worked with Dr. V. Aravindan in Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include catalyst design and energy conversion electrocatalysis.
Dr. Praneetha Selvarasu worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (2019) in the laboratory of Dr. V. Aravindan at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, India. She obtained her PhD in physics with a specialization in nanoscience and technology with Prof. A. Vadivel Murugan from Pondicherry central university, Tamil Nadu, India. During her postdoc she worked on developing conversion and alloying mechanism based anodes for Li-ion batteries and capacitors.
